Last week we visited the Hancock Museum, where the children observed a range of animals and learned about their features, behaviours, and adaptations to their environments, making clear links between the museum experience and our classroom learning. Back in class, the children extended their learning by exploring the rainforest through their senses. They selected an animal of interest and created their own habitats using natural resources that might be found in the rainforest.
