BIG Award Success for Benton House School
We are proud to have been awarded the BIG Award 2026-2027 in recognition of our commitment to preventing bullying at Benton House School.
Every child deserves to feel safe, valued and understood. We build strong relationships with our pupils and take time to understand the reasons behind their behaviour. When difficulties arise, staff use restorative conversations and peer mediation to help repair relationships and resolve conflict.
We teach pupils about respectful language and help them understand the impact their words and actions can have on others. We also monitor concerns carefully so that we can provide support and intervene early when needed.
This award recognises the ongoing commitment of both pupils and staff to creating a kind, supportive and respectful school community.
