National Child Exploitation Awareness Day – 18th March
National Child Exploitation Awareness Day takes place each year on 18th March. The day aims to raise awareness of child exploitation and encourage everyone to play a role in keeping children safe. It reminds us all to think, spot the signs, and speak out against abuse, while promoting a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate relationships between adults and children, or exploitation between young people.
In school, we will be supporting this important campaign by raising awareness with pupils. Activities may take place on the day itself or throughout the week to help children understand how to stay safe and how to seek help if they are worried about themselves or others.
