News update from Benton House School

Here are some of the fantastic learning activities the pupils at Benton House School have been enjoying this week!

This week woodpeckers made chocolate crispy cakes topped with marshmallows while exploring our new food technology room!

This week in Starlings we have been developing our drama skills to summarise our model text ‘The Catch’.

Ryan is acting as the part of the fish from our story. Zack is demonstrating how the wild boy might have felt with the ‘weight of the world on his shoulders’, trying to catch a fish.

Little Auks enjoyed exploring the new gym facilities and developing their strength and gross motor skills. They also had fun investigating different textures and colours during sensory play.
