Fire Service visit to Benton House School

Today we were lucky to have a visit from our local fire service. The firefighters explained their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the safety of our local area. They then showed our pupils all of their equipment and allowed them to try on the uniform, sit on the truck and have a go at the hoses. Pupils engaged really well and participated in a serious discussion on how to reduce risk of fires and how to report a fire should they ever encounter one.
